CASE STUDY

Caring for those who care for our communities. The power of real-time mental health resources to meet caregivers where they are

About SEIU 775 Benefits Group:

Caregivers fill an important role in our communities by helping vulnerable individuals, including older adults and people with disabilities, stay safe and healthy in their homes. They are also at higher risk for depression and anxiety than the general population, and are underserved when it comes to adequate mental health resources.

SEIU 775 Benefits Group wanted to offer caregivers easily accessible options for
emotional support. Compared to the average wait time of 28 days for in-person care, 24-hour real-time human contact increased motivation and accountability in the therapeutic process.

quote-1

Stress and anxiety contributes 82.6% of the emotional health cases working people suffer. One out of every four people says their job is the top stressor in their life.
